
The Oxfordshire School Leaders Conference brings together senior figures in education across the region to share insights, network and listen to inspirational speakers. This year's event is taking place at The Oxford Belfry Hotel at Milton Common on Thursday May 26th.

Dr Neil Hawkes
Dr Neil Hawkes is an international education consultant. As headteacher of West Kidlington Primary & Nursery School, Dr Hawkes devised and implemented a unique system of values-based education that has since been internationally recognised as the foundation of excellent school practice.
Jonathan Lear
Jonathan Lear has introduced the idea of Guerrilla Teaching to the world through his book of the same name, encouraging teachers everywhere to take the fight for a decent curriculum to the hills. His follow-up, The Monkey-Proof Box, looks at how whole-school curriculum development can bring teaching and learning to life.


Sally McWilliam
Sally McWilliam leads on wellbeing provision and coaching for Oxfordshire Teacher Training, the school-centred initial teacher training provider. Her expertise lies in empowering self-confidence and self-managed positive outcomes among new teachers.
Introductory speech to delegates
Dame Rachel De Souza
Dame Rachel is the Children’s Commissioner for England. She speaks up for children and young people so that policymakers and the people who have an impact on their lives take their views and interests into account when making decisions about them.
